Rapid Transition of Clinical Engineering at Chase Farm Hospital and BEH NHS Trust

Chase Farm Hospital (part of Royal Free NHS Trust) and Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust urgently needed to transition their clinical engineering services, including the TUPE transfer of an engineering team to Key Health Solutions. With less than one month to prepare, we were tasked with ensuring the seamless maintenance and repair of critical medical devices.

Key Health Solutions successfully completed the TUPE transfer, procured necessary equipment, and began delivering clinical engineering services within the tight deadline. This ensured uninterrupted medical device maintenance, enabling both NHS Trusts to continue focusing on patient care.

Key Health Solutions acted swiftly, auditing stock parts, visiting workshops, and purchasing biomedical test equipment before the contract began. These steps were essential to ensure operational readiness from day one. Simultaneously, we managed the TUPE transfer, supporting the existing engineering staff as they transitioned to Key Health Solutions.
